Functions and Standards Compliance

• Waterproof: The yarn exhibits excellent resistance against water splashes and sprays, as well as liquids like milk, fruit juices, beverages, coffee, and ink. It complies with standards such as GB/T 4745, ISO 4920, and AATCC 22 to ensure its waterproof properties are of the highest caliber.
• Oil Repellent: The yarn demonstrates effective repellency towards oil-based stains, including salad oil, engine oil, mineral oil, and similar substances. It meets the requirements outlined in standards such as GB/T 19977 and AATCC 118 for oil repellency performance.
• Anti-fouling: This yarn possesses outstanding stain resistance against various substances like mud, dust, grass debris, alcohol, blood, and condiments such as soy sauce, vinegar, and tomato sauce. It meets the specifications stated in the standard FZ/T 01118 to ensure its anti-fouling properties.

Our waterproof, oil repellent & anti-fouling nylon yarn DTY is modified using low-temperature plasma metal coating. It involves exposing the yarn to a low-temperature plasma, which is a highly ionized gas, leading to physical modification and chemical activation of functional groups (such as -OH, -COOH, -C=O) on the fiber. Subsequently, a low-temperature plasma-modified layer of polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) is deposited on the fiber surface, promoting a graft reaction with the fiber molecules to form a fully encapsulated nanofilm. The PTFE polymer on the fiber surface undergoes high-temperature baking, resulting in a unique microstructure resembling wolf tooth stick structure (Anti-splashing oil-proof anti-pollution fiber of wolf tooth stick structure under patent ZL201921110558.X). This application mimics the biomimetic lotus effect, enhancing surface tension and thereby providing excellent water, oil, and foul resistance. Our waterproof, oil repellent & anti-fouling yarn is free from harmful perfluorinated compounds such as PFOA/PFOS, making it environmentally friendly.

Waterproof, oil repellent & anti-fouling nylon yarn DTY is available in six different specifications: 40D/24F, 50D/24F, 70D/24F, 70D/48F, 140D/48F, and 140D/96. It consists of 100% nylon and is classified as AA-grade Waterproof, oil repellent & anti-fouling nylon yarn. This variety of options aims to meet the diverse needs of customers.
